A little about me…

Hi, I’m Emily, the photographer behind Emily Reis Photography. I’m married to my best friend, mom to two little ones, and a storyteller who loves capturing the authentic and imperfect moments that make life real. I started shooting professionally right after high school at 18, but when I became a mom in 2023, I took a break to focus on my family. Becoming a mom changed how I see time. It moves faster than you expect, and all the precious little moments start to slip away. That’s why I’m back behind the camera, to capture those everyday memories that often go unnoticed, but mean so much.

I most often spend my days soaking in the beauty of family life in all it’s messy and magical goodness. When I’m not behind the camera, you can usually find me renovating our fixer-upper with my husband, baking, leading worship for my church, or hyper fixating on my creative hobby of the week. I’m also a big fan of a good vanilla honey latte, slow mornings, and spending time with my favorite people.
